Powering the Zenith Chronomaster Revival Shadow 97.T384.4061/21.C822 is -of course- a movement from the El Primero family in the form of caliber 4061. The result? A dark and mysterious watch that feels resolutely modern, its subtle vintage dimensions notwithstanding. Inspired by a prototype of a hand-wound chronograph from the 1970's, the new Revival Shadow has a micro-blasted titanium case and a black dial with grey counters and a grey tachymeter ring. With the new Chronomaster Revival Shadow 97.T384.4061/21.C822, Zenith adds a different twist to the -slightly quirky- canvas provided by the angular A384 case. With this watch, first as ref. 03.A384.400/21.C815 and later also 03.A384.400/21.M384, Zenith offered a rather faithful reproduction of the original 1969 A384, combining charming vintage looks with updated manufacturing techniques (and materials).
